Asha Omega, a neo-soul emcee from Chicago, draws inspiration from icons like Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. Her debut EP, ALKHEMY, introduced her unique sound, and her latest single, “One Love” (feat. SolarFive & JazStarr), dropped on October 29th. My debut album, The Star, was released on November 27th, bringing transformative and healing music to all. In 2025, Asha Omega will bring more frequency to her community with “Spring Equinox,” her compilation EP filled with songs recorded from 2017 to 2021, which will be released on March 21st, 2025.

Asha Omega is a neo-soul emcee, curator, and healing facilitator hailing from Harvey, Illinois, and based in Chicago. Her music fuses soul, hip-hop, and spoken word, offering listeners an experience rooted in vulnerability, self discovery, and transformation. Influenced by artists like Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, Asha released her debut EP ALKHEMY to critical acclaim and continues to build momentum with singles like “One Love.” 

Offstage, Asha curates healing-centered creative spaces, including open mics and workshops, where artistry and community intersect. Her work invites audiences to connect more deeply with themselves and with each other through rhythm, lyricism, and purpose.
